Safety First

So, I was kindly informed (two weeks into my new job) that in order to satisfy the health and safety regulations for insurance purposes I must wear steel-toed footwear on site. Now, I can see how this may be important when doing archaeology on a construction site it seems unnecessary at my site where we have just found our first rubble concentration this past week. Regardless, I abided by this new information and went to Marks Work Warehouse and purchased a pair of Class 1 CSA Approved steel-toe shoes. Fortunately, I did find some on sale. These are them. I think I lucked out and managed to find a pair that kinda suit me, rather than those big clunky boots that I would never be able to walk in let alone dig in. Leave it to me to find a way out of having to wear boots, eh? They are sort of dirty already, but what do you think?

Oh, by the way, I recently watched "Lady in the Water" and though critics dislike this movie most 'general public' viewers give it good reviews. Brock and I really liked it. We definitely recommend it, just keep in mind that it is not a horror/dramatic thriller like the trailers make it seem. It is not frightening at all, and is more of a fairy tale/bedtime story instead.

I love your shoes. They do suit you. I know that health and safety is making everyone wear these things, I've heard that even nurses who have to go into a wearhouse for 20 minutes once a month have to wear theme. (It's called liability is a bitch, lets cover our asses). P.S. Paul Giamati is awesome.

Very Comfortable, and light too. I can't handle the ankle support of boots 'cause my ankles are all wacked out.
